Communicative Theology

I learned about Communicative Theology from Mary Hess at the 2008 REA conference. Mary Ann Hinsdale and Bradford E. Hinze sponsored a Symposium on "The Gift and Challenge of Intercultural Communication" at Fordham from Feb 28-Mar 1, 2008.

Distributive Learning @ EDS

After a year of consulting with the school's Lilly Endowment Funded Pastoral Excellence Project, I was hired by the Episcopal Divinity School in July 2006 as an Assistant Professor of Pastoral Theology & Educational Technology. In addition to teaching courses related to Faith Formation, Interactive Media, and Contemporary Society, I guided faculty design and launch of the Distributive Learning Option (originally called Flexible Study) for Masters students. This option provides students an opportunity to earn a MATS in four years or an MDiv in five years through a combination of face-to-face and online residency/formation and online, two-week intensive, weekend, and/or semester courses. This site collects resources related to the theory, design and implementation of that option.

This site has been created to complement a series of courses offered at the Episcopal Divinity School by Dr. Julie Anne Lytle. The series includes:
